Luke and Quee spent a good bit of time in a house in Glenuig, recording tunes with Angus Grant. The walk to Smirisary from Glenuig was particularly memorable. We dedicate Smirisary to James and Kaela, who got married in Blaich and had their Wedding Dance in Glenuig Hall.

about

A Telluric current is generated by the magnetic field of the earth and can be measured by sticking two electrodes into the ground.

Telluric Translations suggests a way of interpreting the landscape into the language of music.

The album crosses continents and genres exploring the landscape with sound.
